Inspired by watching his dad race, Wyatt began competing a year and a half ago and has already earned his first heat race win. He loves the thrill of racing, especially the chance to win, but also enjoys the entire experience—from preparation to overcoming obstacles.
Wyatt's race day begins with his parents helping him organize his equipment, and he actively contributes by prepping his kart. He’s also learned from mentors, improving with each race. He uses a strategy of running the top of the track to pass others, then moving to the bottom when in the lead. His kart holds personal significance, featuring his favorite sports team's logo and his dad's racecar number.
Racing comes with challenges, especially when accidents prevent him from finishing, but Wyatt bounces back stronger. His favorite memory so far is winning his first heat race at Shawnee, with the support of the racing community. To handle nerves, he thinks about his favorite cartoon, Bluey, to stay calm.
Wyatt dreams of playing football at the University of Tulsa and enjoys other activities like baseball and riding his 4-wheeler. His advice for future racers: learn the flags and give it your all. For Wyatt, kart racing is more than a sport, it's a passion that continues to grow, with a bright future ahead both on and off the track.
