Corrosion Loss Inspection Procedure.

Inspected numerous
DC10 Crown Skin Splices using the MAUS® IV LFEC inspection
procedure.

Participated in the
MAUS® IV DC9 Corrosion detection, Material loss prediction
inspection procedure assessment and quantification study. Reported the
results of the study to MAUS® Long Beach and the FAA.

Ultrasonic/Resonance
inspected several Indy Racing League (IRL) Racecar chassis for crash
damage assessment using the MAUS® IV C-scan system.

Ultrasonic/Resonance
inspected composite paper mill rollers for manufacturing defects.

Participated in the
Sandia National Laboratories, AANC Corrosion detection and prediction,
equipment assessment study using the MAUS® IV C-scan system.

Problem
Solving:
-
Designed and
manufacture improved MAUS® IV Sensor Cable for Boeing® to
greatly reduce external interference, signal noise, and null shift
caused by flux field bleed.
-
Conceptualized and
co-developed the " Reversed driver-pickup LFEC Reflection probe used for
the MAUS® IV corrosion loss inspection procedure. This probe
is designed to detect smaller diameter corrosion pits.
